Make Ready Market is a locally curated food hall in downtown San Antonio, Texas. We are located at 203 8th Street in the River North District, nestled along the San Antonio River between downtown and the Pearl. Our food hall brings together a rotating lineup of independently owned vendors, each serving a distinct cuisine in one welcoming, communal space.

We are open daily. Sunday through Thursday, our hours are 11 AM to 9 PM. Friday and Saturday, we are open from 11 AM to 10 PM. Teka Molino opens each morning at 7 AM for breakfast, making Make Ready Market one of the few food halls in San Antonio with morning hours.

A Food Hall Built on San Antonio History

The name Make Ready Market is a direct nod to this property’s past. This building was once part of the Cavender Cadillac dealership, where vehicles were carefully prepared and made ready for customers before delivery. That same spirit of preparation and attention to detail guides everything we do today.

We carry that legacy forward as a gathering place for the River North neighborhood. Our food hall sits at the center of a growing urban district, within a 10-minute walk or bike ride from the Pearl, the central business district, and the San Antonio River Walk. Surrounded by residential communities, the Maverick Dog Park, and some of the city’s most vibrant new development, Make Ready Market was built to serve the neighborhood around it.

Local Vendors, Real Food, One Roof

Every vendor at Make Ready Market is independently operated and locally curated. Our current lineup includes Teka Molino, serving classic Tex-Mex with puffy tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas since 1937. Four Brothers brings Venezuelan arepas, empanadas, and bowls to downtown San Antonio. Hotaru Sushi offers high-quality traditional Japanese hand-rolled sushi. Bowls n Go serves fresh Mediterranean salads, grain bowls, and wraps. Ize Box by Orderup rounds out the savory options with burgers, fries, and scratch-made chocolate chip cookies. For something sweet, Ize Box Soft Serv offers soft-serve ice cream, shakes, and floats.

This is not a chain restaurant. Every vendor was chosen because they bring something distinct to the table. We believe San Antonio deserves a food hall that reflects the diversity, creativity, and energy of the people who live here in the emerging River North District.
